I left work at lunchtime again and, after changing my clothes to better fit the 90 degree weather we are currently enjoying, went to the hangar to get the forward (or is it the front?) skin riveted on. I wanted to get this done so we could get to the windshield the next day.
Really not much to say except I put rivets in all the holes and with a combination of air gun and hand gun, installed them all. A few pictures.
One alarming thing – I am almost out of A5 rivets, and certainly not enough to finish the plane. How did that happen?
Tomorrow will be fuel sender fix and windshield (re-)start.
