The big push to get the elevator finished. I started by adding corrosion protectant to the spar where the skins will touch and then reassembled the rear skins onto the spar, clecoed in place and then riveted both sides. I made this video:

Then it was time to complete the trim tab which started by making sure it fit nicely into the space with the safety wires in place. No matter how I tried I could not get the wires in a place where they didn’t rub the skin. Caleb at Zenith had said that I could just smash the ends as an alternative so that’s what I did. I guess the hinge is not coming out again. After that I riveted the hinge into the trim tab.
