This took over an hour but the good news is that the sender behaved properly and the gauge is now calibrated.<\/p>\n<p>After that I got ready to rivet the passenger seat<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/SGH2ET\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2832\/33278503451_5805595fb9_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"About to rivet seat pan\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and did<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/SQsyuA\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3678\/33366212426_40fe224a1a_c.jpg?resize=600%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Passenger seat pan riveted\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am very happy that I got the placement of the transponder just right, it is very easily accessible through the lightening holes in the pan.<\/p>\n<p>The baggage area came out nicely<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/RByYDE\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3925\/32563993144_0a0dbe5c92_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Baggage area riveted\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and with the pan in place I was able to put the seat in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/SEhrfm\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/715\/33251071972_1aa58ce4db_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Passenger seat in\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got in to give it a go, with some cushions in, I reckon that isn&#8217;t a bad place to be sat. I may regret not drilling some alternative holes for the seat position but we shall see.<\/p>\n<p>To end the day I made and installed some stripes to go on the top of the fuselage<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/SjcRDE\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3862\/33023848580_7c1844b8c8_c.jpg?resize=600%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Top Stripes On\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That picture makes it look like I did a damn good job of lining them up! <\/p>\n<p>Well that&#8217;s it for another weekend. Right now this project is all about the windshield and doors&#8230;. they are the key to finishing.
