But&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>I did finish the vinyl on the wings, added red to the wing root.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/UaqBY7\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4162\/34237204082_d806885fb9_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Vinyl wrapped wing root\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The FAA requires two &#8220;Experimental&#8221; decals to be placed on the plane in clear view of any people intending to enter it &#8211; one more &#8220;this guy built this, are you sure&#8221;. I&#8217;d bought mine in red which meant it couldn&#8217;t go inside above the door so I chose to display it front and centre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/UptgM8\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4163\/34396152445_c5d4bd409b_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Experimental decal\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have to say that looks pretty sharp.<\/p>\n<p>I got the file out and finished the scoops on the cowling. Except I suspect I should do some more, really no idea how big the hole is supposed to be.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/TPuppj\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4170\/34011612340_f23a2396aa_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Scoops cut out\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lastly in the final minutes I had I safety wired one of the exhaust springs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/UcWrPr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4156\/34265656291_ed8d29757f_c.jpg?resize=800%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Safety wiring exhaust spring\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Not sure if that is the best way to do it. Maybe I should wire each end of the spring separately.
