Door Sills (1h 30m)

I am making these updates far from when I actually did the work so they will probably be briefer than usual as I doubt I can remember what I did!

For a total change of pace I thought I would start on the doors. First up is to place the door sill up to the cabin frame and drill the pilot holes.

I thought I was being smart by positioning the top window rib at the same time to get the best fit. But this backfired in the end because the sill is not quite sung up enough against the cabin frame at the engine end. I got it right on the passenger side.

The top window rib installs in the same holes.

Once both sides were pilot drilled I tried the top window fit just for giggles.

Feels like I should be in no rush to actually install that, I am bound to drop an anvil or something through it.

The back side of the door sill is a bit of a challenge as there’s no easy way to get to it. I was able to get a lot of the holes drilled but these that are behind the cabin frame cross piece seem impossible.

Well, thats that on the door sills. Not the sexiest post I’ve made.
