Flaperon Arms and Top Skins (1hr 15m)

Teri helped me turn the wing assembly over so that I can start on the top.

I started out (with Teri’s help) by clecoing the two top skins to the ribs through their pre-drilled holes.

I then went to set the trailing edge location and realised that I couldn’t do that because I had not installed the flaperon arms. Ugh. So I had to take the skins off and put the flaperon arms inside the skin.

Each hole in the flaperon arm and associated l-angle takes an A5 rivet

And here’s a familiar view from underneath

With the flaperon arms in place, I put the top skins back on and then decided I was hot enough for the day and would call it quits.
