Copper State Fly In, Casa Grande AZ

Over the weekend of October 22nd, Teri and I spent a day at the Copper State Fly In in Casa Grande, Arizona. We had a pretty good day walking the flight line, talking to vendors, taking in a workshop and generally enjoying the aviation. One of the highlights of the day was definitely getting to sit in a CH 750 for the first time.

I must say that it felt real good in there. Sadly we couldn’t a demo ride but it has enthused me about getting mine finished.

There were a handful of 750s around, including this pretty one that was for sale:

The other highlight of the day was getting to meet my twitter friends Mike and his wife Liz who are building their own 750 (and who I blame for getting me into this!). We had a great day hanging out with them and hope to do so again real soon. There was a picture taken with me and Mike but it is on my wife’s camera, will have to add it to this later.
